At Capital Area Veterinary Specialists, our mission is to provide both you and your pet with the highest level of care and comfort throughout your visit. Our exam rooms are thoughtfully designed to accommodate larger pets and multiple family members, ensuring a relaxed environment for everyone.
A member of our medical team will greet you and escort you and your pet to one of our exam rooms. There, one of our experienced veterinary technicians will talk with you about your pet’s medical history and gather any other relevant information. Once this is complete, your pet will be gently taken to our treatment area where vital signs will be collected, and a thorough physical examination will be performed by one of our veterinary specialists.
While your pet is being safely monitored by our technicians, the doctor will meet with you in the exam room to discuss their findings. Keeping your pet in the treatment area during this conversation helps minimize distractions and ensures that you receive and fully understand all of the important information being shared.
Following the consultation and examination, we will provide tailored recommendations to guide the next steps in your pet’s care.
